On Thursday 3rd June 2010, The Fishmongers’ Company hosted a one day seminar on “Market Opportunities for Inshore Seafood”. Over 80 industry delegates attended the seminar at the Hall to hear a wide range of presentations by key people from the seafood industry. At the end of the presentations a “meet the buyer event “was organised by Julie Snowden of Seafish, which enabled delegates to speak with the presenters on a one to one basis. The seminar was sponsored by Defra, The Billingsgate Seafood Training School and The Shellfish Association of Great Britain.
