The International Olympic Committee (IOC) held a reception at Fishmongers' Hall on Friday 20th July.  The President of the IOC, Count Jacques Rogge, presented the Prime Warden of the Fishmongers' Company, Lord Phillimore, with a bust of Baron Pierre de Coubertin, founder of the modern Olympic movement, in recognition of the Company's support for the Olympics in 1904 and 1908, when an Olympic medal was awarded to the Company.  Following the reception, the IOC Executive Board held a private dinner at the Hall.
